We’re excited to announce that NAMI Insights is now available in the latest NEXGEN release!

As the newest addition to the growing NAMI (NEXGEN Asset Management Intelligence) family, NAMI Insights helps users understand operational data without leaving their workflow. By presenting key operational highlights and generating follow-up suggested question insights, NAMI Insights helps users move from raw data to meaningful understanding in just a few clicks.

No more digging through records, manually reviewing long lists of work orders, or trying to interpret large amounts of operational data on your own. NAMI Insights helps transform what you’re already looking at into clear, actionable understanding.

What Is NAMI Insights?

NAMI Insights is a centralized analytics capability embedded directly within NEXGEN. It helps users quickly understand operational data through interactive summaries and suggested questions that generate contextual responses based on the information currently displayed on screen.

  • Summarize: NAMI Insights presents key metrics and summary widgets relevant to the current module and view. These summaries provide a high-level snapshot of operational activity, helping users immediately identify areas that may require attention.
  • Analyze: Users can select from predefined suggested questions designed specifically for the current module and view type. NAMI Insights evaluates the available operational data and generates easy-to-understand responses that help users uncover meaningful trends, workload patterns, and operational insights.
  • Guided Exploration: Instead of manually reviewing dozens or hundreds of records, users can explore common business questions through guided prompts that help surface important operational information quickly.
  • Embedded Within Your Workflow: NAMI Insights is available directly within NEXGEN, allowing users to analyze and understand their data without switching screens or navigating away from their current task.

Why NAMI Insights?

Organizations collect more operational data than ever before. The challenge isn't accessing the information—it's understanding what it means and determining what to do next.

NAMI Insights helps solve that challenge in four key ways.

  1. Translates Complex Data Into Plain English
Work Orders contain valuable operational information, but interpreting rows of records, statuses, and metrics can be time-consuming. NAMI Insights transforms complex data into simple, easy-to-understand summaries that help users quickly understand what's happening without needing to become data analysts.
  2. Eliminates Manual Exports and Reports
Answering routine operational questions often requires exporting spreadsheets, building reports, or relying on specialized analysts. NAMI Insights helps users get answers directly within NEXGEN, reducing the need for manual reporting and helping teams move faster.
  3. Provides Natural Next Steps
Understanding data is only the first step. Visual summary widgets provide the context users need to select relevant suggested questions and explore deeper operational trends, helping uncover insights that might otherwise be overlooked.
  4. Flexible Enterprise Control
Organizations have different requirements when it comes to AI-enabled tools. NAMI Insights includes a simple system configuration option that allows organizations to enable or disable AI-driven capabilities based on their corporate policies and operational preferences.

Why Use NAMI Insights in Work Orders?

Work Orders are often where supervisors and maintenance managers spend most of their day. NAMI Insights helps users quickly understand what's happening across their current workload without manually reviewing every record.

  1. Pinpoint Active Bottlenecks: Summary widgets help users identify aging work orders, growing backlogs, and operational areas that may require immediate attention.
  2. Balance Team Workloads: Suggested questions can help managers evaluate workload distribution, identify resource imbalances, and better understand technician performance.
  3. Speed Up Operational Reviews: Rather than spending time analyzing data manually, users can immediately access summaries and guided insights directly within both List and Detail views.

How NAMI Insights Works

Getting started is simple:

  1. Open the Work Orders module.
  2. Review the operational highlights generated for your current Work Order view.
  3. Look at the operational summary for key Work Order metrics.
  4. Based off the summary, select a suggested question that will give you deeper insights into your data.
  5. Receive a contextual response generated from the Work Orders currently displayed on screen.
  6. Continue exploring additional suggested questions to uncover deeper operational insights.

With NAMI Insights embedded directly within Work Orders, users can spend less time searching for answers and more time taking action.

What is the difference between NAMI Dashboards and NAMI Insights?

NAMI Dashboards are pre-curated analytical views that also have high level insights. These insights are relevant to that specific widget that you click on.

NAMI Insights allows you to analyze and summarize data and have interactive conversations with it, helping you make more informed decisions. NAMI Insights are a deep dive on the data currently available on the page. The guided questions help you choose what you want to learn about your data, where to start, what gaps you need to fill, and how to better improve your workflows.

Bringing Operational Intelligence Directly Into Your Workflow

NAMI Insights helps maintenance teams spend less time searching for answers and more time taking action.

Whether you're reviewing work order activity, identifying operational bottlenecks, balancing workloads, or simply trying to better understand the data in front of you, NAMI Insights provides the context and guidance needed to make faster, more informed decisions.

The future of maintenance intelligence isn't just about collecting data—it's about helping users understand it when and where they need it most.

And now, that intelligence is built directly into NEXGEN.
