The Asset Management Planning module is made up of 4 sub-modules: Asset Plans, Funding, Risk and Prioritization.

Funding Forecasts.
NEXGEN Asset Management applies standard or user defined asset plans to generate short and long term funding forecasts. Funding forecasts of up to 100 years can be generated for entire locations, classes or asset specific. Funding projections will allow organizations to plan and put aside adequate reserves to support asset refurbishments and replacements. Funding forecast graphs and tables are generated to support plans and presentations to stakeholders.
Risk Management.
-
The funding forecast can be compared to the Risk, Impact, Probability and Condition to establish the appropriate strategies to support service levels. In the event that an organization cannot afford all of the required funding, the software has predefined scenario planning tools to determine "what if" effects if specific projects are not funded. This is a powerful tool to communicate to stakeholders on developing sustainable asset management strategies.
Project Prioritization.
NEXGEN AM’s Prioritization module allows users to utilize asset management risk principles by prioritizing projects from the lifecycle funding module to generate a capital improvement plan.
